SONICFlOOd Nashville, TN-- In recent months the ACLU has gone after yet another school district for allegedly violating the First Amendment. A small community in the Florida panhandle is one of the most recent victims of ACLU intimidation. A Federal judge has ordered the school district to discontinue religious advancement. But the story doesn’t end there, in fact, it is just beginning. Outraged by this ruling and it’s obvious intent to silence Christians, a junior at one of the High Schools decided he was going to do something about it. He reached out to the Grammy nominated, Dove Award winning group Sonicflood, known for their willingness to stand up for Constitutional rights, as well as their heart for ministry. Moved by this young man’s passion as well as the cause, the band immediately accepted the request and are now scheduled to do a community wide event on May 6, 2009. They will be joined by Texas politician, constitutional scholar/attorney, and author of “One Nation Under God”, Cynthia Noland-Dunbar, who will speak on the First Amendment and school rights. This will hopefully be the beginning of a nation wide movement to let the ACLU know that Christians will no longer be silenced by the ACLU’s abuse and misinterpretation of Constitutional rights any longer.

The event will be held on May 6, 2009 at Immanuel Baptist Church, 4187 Highway 90, Pace, Florida 32571. Time of the event is 6:30pm.
